Christmas in Korea

It’s Christmas Eve here in Korea, and with that brings a sigh of relief. At least from Team Waygook who participated in the TOZ Christmas Party / Dance Competition last night. For the past 2 weeks we’ve been practicing and preparing for the competition, and I’d say all in all it was a big success.

Here’s the video from our Boxing themed Jazz dance.  I was super nervous, and I’d say I’m proud to just have not kicked anyone in the head. I’m trying to get over making a few mistakes, but in the end we all had a great time.

It was definitely a rewarding experience joining a Korean dance studio and I’m sad to see it end. Thanks TOZ!

The rest of the weekend will be spent with festivities and dinners with all the wonderful people of Daegu, and maybe some Winter Camp planning on Sunday.  Missing everyone at home this weekend and hope you have a MERRY CHRISTMAS!

Great dancing. I did not see any mistakes…… We are glad that you are enjoying your time in Korea, but that you will soon be back home. Matthew and Vero’s wedding was lots of fun, even if there was lots of rain. It was a very emotional time seeing our son get married. We hope you and Joel had a great Christmas. Lots of love, Aunt Lisa and Uncle Artie.

  2. Wow. That was quite good Gina. I am impressed with your dancing skilz and it looks like it was a lot of fun and good exercise to boot.

Thanks for sharing your experiences with everyone. Can you please tell me the name of the studio you were with in Daegu?
